Responsive Classroom: Research-based approach for academic, social, and emotional learning.

Responsive Classroom is a student-centered approach to teaching and discipline that comprises a set of research- and evidence-based practices designed to create safe, joyful, and engaging classroom communities for both students and teachers.

Schools and teachers who adopt the Responsive Classroom approach focus on creating optimal learning conditions for students to develop their academic, social, and emotional skills and building positive school and classroom community where students learn, behave, hope, and set and achieve goals.

You’ll learn practical strategies and get valuable tools and books that prepare you to implement Responsive Classroom immediately at the end of each course or workshop.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some of our events will be offered virtually. We will use the Zoom platform to remain committed to helping teachers and school leaders create safe and joyful learning communities where every student can thrive. Whether you attend in-person or online professional development, you will learn how to integrate academic and social-emotional learning through key teaching practices in an experiential and informative environment.
