Cancellation, Rescheduling and Change of Service Delivery Policies

How do I cancel or reschedule my registration?

All sales for in-person and live on-line professional development are final. If you are unable to attend an event, contact us as soon as possible at 413-667-4791, or email [email protected].

If a person is unable to attend the Responsive Classroom® professional development for which they are registered, the registration fee may be applied as follows:

The payee will be issued an e-credit for the full purchase price of the registration that can be used to:

  • Register the participant for another Responsive Classroom® professional development that fits their schedule.
  • Register another person to the same or different Responsive Classroom® professional development.
  • Apply towards the purchase any of our books, retail products or curriculum materials.

Rescheduled or change in delivery method

Center for Responsive Schools intends to ensure that your Responsive Classroom® professional development experience from registration to course completion will reflect, to the best of our abilities, our commitment to and value for you as a Responsive Classroom® practitioner.  In the event that it becomes necessary to reschedule the date of the Responsive Classroom®  professional development or change the delivery method of the Responsive Classroom®  professional development (i.e., from in person to live on-line) for which you are registered, we will provide full and timely information on the rescheduled date or change in delivery method by email and text message to both the payee and the participant (if they are different) at least 15 days prior to the first day of the scheduled Responsive Classroom® professional development.  We will offer you the opportunity to choose the recommended rescheduled day and/or change in delivery method.

You may complete your change by responding to the email you receive and identifying which recommended change you are accepting or by calling our registration customer service line at 413-667-4791.

If you do not select the recommended changes or if you do not notify us of your desired change within seven (7) business days of receiving notification of the change, the purchaser will receive an e-credit on their account.

If you are not ready to choose either of the options, the payee will be issued an e-credit for the full purchase price of the registration that can be used to:

  • Register the participant for another Responsive Classroom® professional development that fits their schedule.
  • Register another person to the same or different Responsive Classroom® professional development.
  • Apply towards the purchase any of our books, retail products or curriculum materials.

The e-credit will be applied to your account within 7 business days.

Note: All e-credits will expire one year (365 days) from the date of issue.

Cancellations

Center for Responsive Schools (CRS) reserves the right to cancel events for any reason.

If a Responsive Classroom® professional development event is canceled for a reason outside of what is listed below, a refund will be given.

In any case where cancellations to Responsive Classroom® professional development events are caused by or result from natural disasters, war, civil commotion, fire, flood or other casualty, government regulations, public health and safety concerns, unusually severe weather or other causes beyond our control, CRS will notify the purchaser and the registrant within 24 hours of Center for Responsive Schools becoming aware of the need to cancel. If we are unable to reschedule the event within six (6) months of the cancellation you will be given a full refund on your registration.
