It’s Conference Time—Register Now!

The Center for Responsive Schools is hosting its annual Teachers Conference, November 3-4, and Leadership Conference, November 5-6, in Cambridge, MA this year. CRS is excited to continue the tradition of bringing together inspirational educators to learn from and with each other and experts in the field.

In addition to core Responsive Classroom competencies like classroom management and teacher language, conference offerings reflect the unique challenges of schools serving students aged 4-14. “With topics ranging from engaging academics to toxic stress and anxiety, as well as a full session track for both Elementary and Middle School educators,” says Lora Hodges, Executive Director, “we’re excited to offer a wide range of great learning.”

“Our annual conferences are for everyone,” Hodges says. ”Whether you’re attending for an introduction to Responsive Classroom or to deepen your learning in our advanced sessions, you’ll leave with practical professional development you’ll be able to use in your school or classroom right away.”

This year’s Teachers Conference, Making Learning Meaningful, features a keynote on Trauma-Informed Teaching by Joel Ristuccia, EdM. At the Leadership Conference, Dr. Pedro Noguera will speak on Leading to Serve All Students.
