How to receive graduate-level professional development credit
Elementary and middle school participants who successfully complete the Responsive Classroom Course and elementary educators who complete the Responsive Classroom Advanced Course have the opportunity to earn graduate-level professional development credit through Brandman University, part of the Chapman University System. This credit will be awarded by Brandman University upon completion of follow-up practicum projects and payment of an additional fee to Brandman University.
These credits are not part of a degree program, but instead are primarily used for professional advancement and re-certification. Students are advised to seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential or local school district requirements.
Brandman University is responsible for registrations, project assignments and grading. Responsive Classroom only provides certificates of attendance.
