How to Register
There are four ways to register for Responsive Classroom summer institutes.
1. Online. We accept only MasterCard and Visa for online registrations. To use a purchase order, see option 3.
2. Call us at 800-360-6332 x 130.
We accept only MasterCard and Visa for phone registrations.
3. Fax our registration form with your signed purchase order to 877-206-3952. Please complete one registration form per attendee.
4. Mail our registration form with your check, money order, or purchase order. Please complete one registration form per attendee. Mail to: NEFC Registrations,

Registration Information
Tuition is $695. Tuition includes all materials, morning refreshments, and lunch Monday through Thursday (Friday is a half day).
Payment or signed purchase order must accompany registration. We cannot hold spaces prior to receiving payment or a purchase order. If your school is paying your tuition, we understand that it may take them several days to prepare a purchase order. In that case we suggest you pay up front, then have your school reimburse you. Purchase orders with registration forms (one form per attendee) must be faxed to 877-206-3952 or mailed to us at the address listed above. We cannot process purchase orders online.
Payment methods for individuals
You may pay by check, Visa, or MasterCard. If paying by check, fill out the registration form and include it with your check. Make checks payable to "NEFC, Inc".
Purchase orders
School purchase orders must be mailed or faxed to us at 877-206-3952 (we suggest faxing). Along with your signed purchase order, include one registration form for each attendee. We cannot process purchase orders online.
Confirmation
We will email your registration confirmation 5-10 days after you register. At that time you will also receive directions to your institute location, a list of lodging suggestions, and other information.
Cancellation policy
We accept cancellations received at least 7 days before the workshop date. We will gladly refund your tuition less a 10% handling fee.
If you cancel less than 7 days before the workshop, you will not receive a tuition refund. However you may either:

Receive a credit and apply that credit towards a future workshop, or

Substitute another person in your place. It’s okay if the replacement teaches a different grade or performs different school duties from you. Call 800-360-6332 x 130 or email registration@responsiveclassroom.org as soon as possible with any substitution requests.
If you choose not to attend the workshop, for whatever reason, and don't notify NEFC before the start date of the workshop, your tuition will be forfeited.
Changing your choice of institute location
To change your choice of location, call (800-360-6332 x 130) or email (registration@responsiveclassroom.org) as soon as possible. We will accommodate your request if space is available.
Changing your grade choice
When you register, you’ll be asked which grade level group you’d like to be placed in. If you register for one grade and later find out you’ll be teaching another grade next year, it’s very important that you call (800-360-6332 x 130) or email (registration@responsiveclassroom.org) to tell us of the change.
Inclement Weather
If NEFC makes the decision to cancel a workshop or institute as a result of severe weather, we will make sure this information is available via the website and phone. We will post a notice on www.responsiveclassroom.org, and we will provide an outgoing message on the registration hotline (800-360-6332 x 130). Participants can also call ahead to confirm that the workshop or institute is still going to run. If NEFC cancels, we will provide participants a choice of
If you decide not to attend the workshop due to weather conditions, but the workshop or institute has not been cancelled, it is important that you call 800-360-6332 x 130 or email registration@responsiveclassroom.org as soon as possible to let us know. You will be entitled to receive a credit and may apply that credit towards future training only if you notify us before the end of the workshop or institute.
