Kelly Kosefeski, a teacher from Fort Collins, Colorado, is the recipient of the 2010 Charney Scholarship. Kelly plans to use the award to take the Responsive Classroom Level II course in Washington, DC, this August. She took Responsive Classroom Level I a few years ago, when she was a third grade teacher at St. Anne’s – Belfield School in Charlottesville, Virginia, and says it was “the single most important professional development that I have ever participated in. I am a better teacher, mother, and colleague because of it… now I don’t think I would ever teach without it.” [...]
