Scholarship Opportunity

by Jen Audley on

Are you ready to take an advanced Responsive Classroom course, but don't know how you'd pay for it? Apply for the Ruth Sidney Charney Scholarship for a chance to attend Responsive Classroom II tuition-free this summer.

Ruth Sidney Charney is the author of Teaching Children to Care and a co-founder of Northeast Foundation for Children (NEFC). The scholarship was established upon her retirement in 2006, and provides tuition for an elementary educator to attend a Responsive Classroom II course at any of the locations where we are offering those courses this summer. (To be eligible, you must have completed Responsive Classroom I.)

The application period for this year's scholarship has ended. Applications were due by March 11, and the winner will be notified by March 18. If you have questions about the Charney Scholarship, email charneyscholarship@responsiveclassroom.org.

Good luck!
